2d blue, RECONSTRUCTED BLOCK OF FOUR having been originally a block of four but separated into two horizontal pairs and franked two different covers, positions 7-8/11-12, both with large to very large uneven margins and showing dramatic DOUBLE IMPRESSIONS, some usual small faults, brilliantly reconstructed and an extremely rare exhibition showpiece

2d blue, two singles, positions 6 & 8, close to large uneven margins, in combination with 1859-61 Britannia 6d blue, all cancelled or tied by black oval bars cancels, on 1859 folded letter sheet from Port Louis "via Suez" to Batavia (Dutch East Indies), the stamps have been lifted and then reaffixed, a superb early impression combination cover to a rare destination
