GERMANY - BOX WITH COLLECTIONS includes a rather beautiful old album dedicated to "The History of the Millionen stamps of the German Empire August - September - Oktober 1923" packed with mint Inflation stamps which have gotten lightly damp but chiefly lift up; an Allied Occupation stock in a large stock book; Berlin from 1948 onwards in 2 s/books from the 1st black / red opts, some better ealy sets etc; East Germany 1945 - 1990 comprehensive never hinged mint in 3 matching volumes, another stock book with 1949 - 1957 mint sets including many of the better ones such as 1950 Academy of Sciences, 1951 Friendship with China etc; various 1930s-modern on loose pages (1000's) (Image1)

Volume I containing German states Baden to Wurttemberg with many imperf 'classics' & highly- cat items, Heligoland, Saar, WWI Occupations, Plebiscite, Danzig, WWII Occupation and local issues; Vol II Empire & Third Reich 1871 to 1940 well annotated with many complete sets (we note the 1871-1872 issues cat £3500+ in SG and this is the first page only), Zeppelins, 1930 IPOSTA and other m/sheets; Vol III Wartime and Allied Occupation mostly mint sets with Br, Am & Soviet zone, French, Russian and General zones to the 1949 Goethe m/sheet (never hinged mint); Vol IV Berlin (Western) 1948 - 1990 highly complete from the 1948 & 1949 red and black overprint sets mint plus additional used & forgeries, 1949-54 Buildings set chiefly mint + booklet panes, 1949 UPU set both m & u, 1949 Relief Fund set + m/sheet both never hinged mint and onwards with most of the best sets often nhm & used. Vol V 1949 to 1970 West Germany highly complete incl 1951-52 Posthorns set mint. Condition mixed on the early material but chiefly very fine (1000's) (Image1)
