image ** FULL PANE OF AIRMAIL OVERPRINTS -The first regular airmail stamps were printed by Thomas de la Rue and issued in 1931. However, six values were locally overprinted by McCorquodale & Co. in March/April 1935 to meet revised rates and shortages of some values. This complete pane shows varieties of: small ½ (positions 17, 27, 32, 41, 42 & 46), missing Arabic 'wow' (49), flattened first S (14), short fraction bar (13), and extra long fraction bar (24).
