ONE SHILLING SIX PENCE: Hermes 1/6d black marginal block of 8 (2x4) from the right of the sheet with Full Plate Number ' 2 ' ACSC 276zd, unmounted, Cat $750+.
TWO SHILLINGS: Aboriginal Art 2/- 'Crocodile' Authority Imprint block of 20 from the base of the sheet with Partial Double Perfs affecting the Ten Lower Units ACSC 263bz, excellent centring, unmounted, Cat $2750++. [The ACSC records only two such blocks]
FIVE SHILLINGS: 5/- red on Thin Paper ACSC 268a L/L corner block with Authority Imprint, exceptional centring, minor creasing, unmounted, Cat $3250 in a footnote.
TWO POUNDS: £2 green No Imprint block of 4 with Roller Flaw on both L/H units ACSC 271ze with Aberrant Perfs in the margin at left, well centred, unmounted, Cat $2250.
TWO POUNDS: £2 green No Imprint block of 4 with Retouched Roller Flaw on both L/H units ACSC 271zf, excellent centring, the upper units lightly mounted, the lower units unmounted, Cat $1750 (mounted).
SPECIMEN OVERPRINTS: 10/- £1 & £2 each with 'IM' of 'SPECIMEN' Joined ACSC 269xc, 270xb & 271xc, unmounted, Cat $22,500. Separate Chris Ceremuga Certificates (2003). [A set with the 'SPEOIMEN' error - also Cat $22,500 - sold at the Prestige auction of 27.2.2017 for $20,400] (3)
SPECIMEN OVERPRINTS: 10/- purple overprinted 'SPEOIMEN' ACSC 269xd, unmounted, Cat $7500. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2004) states "extremely rare as the variety occurred only in Pos [19] for only one printing & was then corrected". [A set with the 'SPEOIMEN' error - Cat $22,500 - sold at the Prestige auction of 27.2.2017 for $20,400]
SPECIMEN OVERPRINTS: £2 green with Large 'SPECIMEN' Overprint (15½x3mm) ACSC 271xd, almost imperceptible fault at the base, unmounted, Cat $12,500. [The ACSC states only 180 were printed & "...perhaps 15 examples are currently recorded". Very fine examples sold at the Prestige auctions of 5.12.2009 & 17.8.2012 for $7187 each. Another example sold at the Prestige auction of 27.2.2017 for $9600]
