KRIZ/SINDANGLAJA. (JAVA)" hs on message half; c.1847 EL to Batavia ex Buitenzorg, D.E.I., with red oval "BUITENZORG/ONGEFRANKEERD" hs on front; and 1 Aug. 1914 env. to Baghdad ex Morocco franked Germany 2c opt "Marokko/25 Centimos", cancelled by "TANGER/(MAROKKO)/[date]/a/DEUTSCHE POST" cds (2), with Dutch Station Label reading "Item found at railway Post Office in/Antwerp. Released for forwarding./Post Office 1 Aachen." (in Dutch) attached to reverse, and with 11 Feb. 1915 "GALATA" machine cancel also on reverse. This item was posted right at the outbreak of WWI, which may have contributed it being forgotten in the Post Office!
