1850's: 1d. rose and five singles of 3d. blue used on folded cover from Melbourne to Geelong, tied by numeral "1", and on the reverse with "MELBOURNE/D/AU 6/18../VICTORIA" despatch dater as well as Geelong 'AU 7/...' arrival datestamp. One of the 3d. cut at bottom, slightly touched to wide margins else, good to very fine. A most attractive 16d. franking. (Image)
