CINDERELLAS: 1890 (?; circa) 'H.B.Y. & B.C./[sailing ship]/POSTAGE/TWO PENCE' label in blue on roughly perforated gummed unwatermarked paper, minor wrinkles, large-part original gum. Recently discovered in an old-time collection & not previously seen by us. We believe the initials are for Hobsons Bay Yacht & Boat Club which was founded in 1888 at Williamstown. Perhaps for correspondence with other yacht clubs, or a carrier stamp for letters delivered to the GPO? Or it may be completely bogus.
