Offices in China, 1922 (July 12), Registered linen cover sent from Shanghai to Java, Dutch East Indies, an eye-catching franking, consisting of a bottom right corner block of eight #K1, a bottom margin block of six #K2, plus a single #K10, all tied by multiple double-oval "U.S. Postal Agency/Shanghai, China" Registry postmarks; violet Registered handstamp at left, while on reverse we find two violet double-ring US Postal Agency daters of July 12, 1922, a "Registered/15 JY/22/P.O. Hong-Kong" transit in black, and a Buitenzorg 28.7.22 comb receiver in a blue black; vertical file fold at left inconsequential; position 6 of #K1 with four gouged spots at bottom, Very Fine, an exhibition-quality cover, with uncommon larger multiples and an out of the ordinary destination.
