image Worldwide, Beguiling Compilation of Better Items, 40 stockpages in sleeve protectors, with a bit of this and a bit of that from Austria to Switzerland; many iconic issues with better items included—along with some that can best be described as "reference"; note early Austria with socked-on-the-nose cancels, early Belgium and WWI Occupation issues (the latter mint); a handful of French Revenues, Dominica arms in gutter strips or overlapping printings; an Estonia Airmail cover; Finnish Zeppelin cover franked with two overprinted stamps, one normal, one "1830" error (plus a second unused error); Bavaria Railway stamps; a 5M "Sarre" overprint mint plus #B1-B4 used; "Venezia Giulia" overprints on piece; seven Iran covers (one addressed to Qom!), Japan #C1-C2 used plus advertising labels, Heilongjiang Local Post surtax set of three; solid Russia with Coat-of-Arms "Specimen" overprints, Civil War items, proofs, etc.; good Switzerland with 10Rp Rayon II on cover, Pro Patria 1936 miniature sheet used, multiples of Industrial War Economy issues mint or never hinged, a few used Seated Helvetias, plus Cantonal Revenues; generally clean and sound, F.-V.F. with much better throughout, a fun lot, with much material you never see; well worth the time to review.

image Worldwide, One Man's Old-Time Miscellany, treasure hunter's delight; a varied mixture with a number of useful items, including philatelic publications such as the Eastern Philatelist (6 issues from 1889), stamp dealers' inserts and philatelic notices from the 1930s-50s, international and domestic stamp exhibition folders, printed souvenir commemorative samples and envelopes commencing from 1930, a battered Scott's Imperial Stamp album (4th edition, 1899) replete with stamps in mixed condition, a few better US stamps with 1847 5¢ (#1) cancelled in red with large to ample margins (tiny corner thin), 1893 Columbian Exhibition $1 (#241) used, 1929 Kansas-Nebraskas 1¢ to 10¢ complete (#658-679) o.g., 1934 A.P.S. 1¢ souvenir sheet (#730) used (approximately 100 sheets); British Forces in Egypt 1935 Silver Jubilee 1d used, and a shoebox of Great Britain FDCs from 1929-69 with 1948 Silver Wedding 2½d and £1 (two such) and 1955 2s6d to £1 on separate covers (2 sets), F.-V.F.
