image Switzerland, Meticulous Mint Collection, 1862-1986, in three slipcased Lighthouse hingeless albums, a collection built with an eye to quality; starts with a nice array of Seated Helvetias, including #41, a near-perfectly centered #47 (!), #61a and 67b (the latter no gum); nice Numerals, Standing Helvetias (many with exquisite centering), near-complete 1900 UPU sets including #103 with 1985 PF certificate (tiny thins); regular issues virtually complete from 1907, including NABA sheet (lightly hinged in selvage), Pax set, etc., with paper and fluor varieties—along with gutter and tête-bêche items for issues from the late 1960s and early '70s; Semi-Postals include Pro Juventute forerunners, all but one of the Coat-of-Arms issues, plus 1937 miniature sheet; Pro Patria complete less one; Airs include #C1 and C2 (2, 1 never hinged), plus a left margin pair of Zumstein #44c with 1989 Renggli certificate; Back-of-the-Book nicely represented with Dues, Officials, a few Franchise and Telegraph stamps, and a broad range (many complete) of Officials for both Switzerland and international organizations, Very Fine on the whole, fresh and clean throughout—a not-to-miss Swiss.

image Switzerland, Highly Complete Used Collection, 1843-1983, presented in two Lighthouse hingeless albums, a magnificently fresh and clean collection of Alpine used; includes several Cantonals (#1L2, 1L4, 2L6 and 2L7, the #1L4 and 2L6 with four full margins, the others with three full), then continues with a stronger-than-usual selection of early Federal issues including #1-2, 5-6, 7 (3, single plus pair), and 11-13; then moves into the Seated Helvetias and Numerals, light early but very well-filled from 1862 issue; 20th century regular issues essentially complete, including NABA and Aarau sheets, etc.; Airs strong from #C3 on; second album contains Back-of-the-Book, with virtually complete Semi-Postals (including the early Coat-of-Arms Pro Juventute issues and a centrally cancelled 1937 miniature sheet), good Dues, a few Franchise stamps, and extensive Officials (both Swiss "proper" and for Society of Nations and affiliated international organizations), Very Fine on the whole, a remarkable collection; inspection invited.
