[Indian River] "Stmr. Indian River", magenta straightline handstamp on a 2¢ green letter sheet canceled with a Titusville, Fla. c.d.s., Dec 30, 1886, duplexed with a negative "T" killer,; to New York City and backstamped there on Jan 1, 1887; the letter, which fills the entire letter sheet, begins, "I am writing this on a very shaky boat in the I. River.", Extremely Fine. Milgram states that three examples of this handstamp "have been seen". Milgram 642 (K-254A).
