THE RHODESIAS POSTAL STATIONERY (46 items) of postcards, letter cards, envelopes, wrappers etc. Noted - Mashonaland 1½d postcard to Surrey, uprated with Rhodesia ½d grey (2), tied Bulawayo c.d.s's (card has a repaired crease), message includes 'the War is in much same state as which I last wrote. The Matoppo Hills are to be tackled now and they will probably prove no light job and Monkeys have now developed a disease of their own & have begun to peg out, hundreds have breathed their last along the Mafeking Road' etc. The lot includes earlies to KGVI period, Type incl.
