STEAM LOCOMOTIVES: A partially written-up collection of used and unused cards, some with faults, and inc. a few real photo types, featuring the development of steam locomotives from Trevithick's 1801 high pressure steam engine up to 1972 Mk 11 Tube stock (endorsed with cachet 'Carried on Royal Inaugural Train 30th April 1979'). SHIPPING - PASSENGER STEAMSHIPS: A large album containing an ex-dealer's stock of better quality, mainly ocean-going passenger steamship cards inc. real photo types, 1900s-early 1950s (mostly 1910s-1940s). The majority are unused, a small number with advertising content and c.50 with undivided backs (some posted).
