image Extensive collection remainders on David Hopper's display pages, numerous better stamps with 1908 Small 'Papua' 2/6d x9; 1908-10 Small 'PAPUA' including Sideways Wmk Perf 11 4d corner block of 4 (minor spotting but **) and Perf 12½ 1/- block of 4, Upright Wmk Perf 12½ 1/- x2; 1910 Large 'PAPUA' 2/6d SG O28, 6d marginal block of 4 (unused) & commercially used block of 12, 2/6d SG O37-38 x6 (two mint); 1911-12 Monocolours mostly mint to 2/6d including 1d with the Watermark Sideways Reversed  (used), ½d upper half-sheet of 20, 2d block of 4 & 2½d sheet of 40, and Monogram pieces to 1/- strip of 3 including 2½d block of 6 (used); and Bicolours used to 2/6d and mint to 2/6d x2 (both no gum) with extra 2d strip of 3 & block of 4, 6d with Double Perfs and 1/- imprint block of 10 (no gum), some Inverted/Reversed Watermarks and a good range of multiples plus some varieties in the stamps and usage outside Port Moresby, generally fine to very fine, Cat £11,000+, for normal singles. image 1930 Bicolours 2½d myrtle & ultramarine SG 97 unlisted by Gibbons with 'OS' puncture marginal vertical pair from the upper-right of the sheet, well centred, unmounted. Extremely rare: we speculate that one or two sheets of 40 (5x8) were prepared for issue, but not released. Far superior to the mounted single that sold at our auction of 29.6.2023 for $463.  Necessarily offered 'as is'.
