1856 (Mar 25) Front and upper flap from Amherst to Liverpool, bearing 1851 3d bright blue (2, four margins, one crossed by pressed file fold) and a bisected 3d, paying the 7½d rate, each cancelled by an oval of bars, also tied by red Liverpool Pkt. Letter Paid datestamp (Apr 6), Amherst and Halifax backstamps and handstruck "5", carried on the Cunard "Arabia".
