1882-1900 Second Sidefaces Perf 10 8d blue with Advertisements on the Reverse SG 225 block of 15 (3x5) with all different 'Ads-On', minor blemishes & some characteristic short/pulled perfs, two units with trimmed perfs that hardly detract, Cat £1050 (NZ$2250). By far the most impressive used multiple we have seen of any of this series.
1947-52 KGVI Definitives 4d to 9d die proofs in black on separate pieces affixed to Bradbury Wilkinson presentation card, '22AUG1945' h/s in violet on the reverse & endorsed "Approved/[initials]/30 10 45" on the face. A spectacular 'set' of proofs. [It was almost two years before any of these stamps were actually issued, on 1.5.1947]
1971 One Ton Cup 5c & 8c imperforate proofs affixed to Bradbury Wilkinson presentation card (113x152mm) with a typed endorsement ".../See order sheet... re modifications/required to BOTH values" affixed at the top clear of the proofs; then a second very similar item with a series of mostly subtle modifications to the designs but the 5c Yacht with Headland in Grey and Much Smaller '5c', endorsed "as submitted 3-12-70" at upper-right.
