NOTIFICATION OF THE START OF LUNDY ISLAND'S TELEGRAPH SERVICE; 15 July 1884 page one of the "POST OFFICE CIRCULAR" (some faults but well clear of the Lundy Notice) neatly folded to show heading and date alongside the important paragraph on page two; "Lundy Island. Telegraphic communication has been extended from the Postal Telegraph Office at Hartland to a new Signal Station established by Lloyds on Lundy Island...3s-6d if the message or report does not exceed 20 words...". Ideal 'Page One' item for any Lundy collection, this being many years older than the first recorded postmark of the island. Fits an album page nicely.
