VERY HIGH POSTAL RATE COVER TO LONDON WITH UNFRAMED "Oz at 14s/- per Oz" MARK EX URUGUAY; 21 Nov. 1826 E from "Montevideo" to Huth in London charged "14/-" with a mainly very fine strike of the rare London Foreign Branch Handstruck "Oz at 14s/- per Oz" mark. The highest basic one ounce rate for which a pre-1840 London mark was introduced; the equivalent of 3s-6d per sheet or per quarter ounce!
