1d red Die I Plate C punctured Large 'OS' 'CA' Monogram strip of 3 ACSC 2(C)z in a block of 18 (6x3), well centred & very fresh, the last unit on the first row is lightly mounted otherwise unmounted, Cat $3500 for a mounted Large 'OS' monogram strip of 3 (see footnote 4) + $1090 for one mounted & 14 unmounted Large 'OS' units.
1d red Die I Plate C 'JBC' Monogram strip of 3 ACSC 2(C)zb in a lower-right corner block of 12 (6x2) with Colour Flaw at L/R Corner on the last unit, well centred, a band of toning at the top & another affecting the first three units on the second row & just impinging on the monogram unit, most units including the monogram strip of 3 are unmounted, Cat $1500++ for mounted. 1d red Die II with Two Tasmanias ACSC 3(E)d two states, White Line at Base of the Second Tasmania 3(E)da (short perfs at R) & the Substituted Cliché with Small Nick in L/H Frame opposite the Value Circle 3(E)dc, well centred, cds cancels clear of the varieties, Cat $1500. 1d red Die II Plate F 'CA' Monogram single with Distinctive Markings in the 'Jubilee' Line ACSC 3(F)za in a block of 4, the first unit with prominent White-Faced Kangaroo (unlisted in the ACSC & by Pope et al), the lower units are superb unmounted, Cat $550++ for a mounted monogram single.
1d red Die IIA block of 12 (6x2) from the top of the R/H pane with all six upper units affected by Double Perfs on Three Sides ACSC 4b, the last unit [R12] is defective, the gum a little aged but unmounted, Cat $3500+. [Stated to be from Plate K]
1d red Die IIA with the Watermark Inverted ACSC 4a (SG 2ew), excellent centring, part-cds of 1JL14 clear of the tell-tale break in the L/H margin, grossly undercatalogued at $100 (£35).
1d red Die IIA Plate H 'CA' Monogram strip of 3 ACSC 4(H)z in lower-left block of 30 (6x5), includes listed varieties Broken Value Circle Pos [33] and Archipelago off North-West Cape [56] ACSC 4(H)f & g plus unlisted varieties on [42] [49] & [59] as noted by Greg Pope, generally well centred, faint bend across the top row, upper-right unit [36] mounted otherwise very fresh unmounted, Cat $5000++. 2d grey Plate 1 No Monogram strip of 3 from the L/H pane with Retouched L/H Frame & Retouch NW of WA, the corner margin trimmed at an angle, Cat $5000.
2d grey Plate 2 'CA' Monogram single ACSC 5(2)z in a block of 8 (4x2), a few short perfs at left & minor bends, a couple of minor tone spots on the upper units, unmounted, Cat $3450 for a mounted Monogram single and seven unmounted stamps.
2d grey with the Watermark Inverted Plate 2 'CA' Monogram strip of 3 ACSC 5a(2)z, well centred, hinge remainder in the margin, the L/H unit with a small tonespot & minor gum loss, the other two units with a minor bend but unmounted including the monogram unit, Cat $6000 for mounted. Ex Peter O'Rourke: sold in 2020 for $4770. [The ACSC states "At least three CA Monogram pieces exist with watermark inverted", but does not distinguish between singles & strips of 3]

6d ultramarine Plate 2 'JBC' Monogram single ACSC 17(2)zc, well centred, two nibbled perfs at right, unmounted, the tiniest of gum disturbances mentioned for accuracy only, Cat $4500 for mounted.
6d ultramarine Plate 2 'JBC' Monogram strip of 3 ACSC 17(2)zb in a block of 6 (3x2), well centred, a couple of tiny blemishes on two top units not affecting the strip & tiny aging marks in margin otherwise superb unmounted, Cat $12,500++ for mounted mint monogram strip plus three unmounted singles. [Peter O'Rourke had only monogram singles. Stuart Hardy's strip of 3 with no gum sold in 2013 for $4195, almost ten years ago]
5/- grey & chrome with Double Print of the Frame Plate punctured Large 'OS', a couple of tiny blemishes, very lightly mounted. [The ACSC records only a non-'OS' pair with this variety, Ex Arthur Gray & 'Artemis': sold at our auction of 1.12.2021 for $11,080. This stamp shows the doubling of the L/L corner frame intruding at an angle into the value tablet]
5/- grey & yellow Plate 2 'CA' Monogram single ACSC 42za with Dark Back on Kangaroo, ironed-out vertical crease that is barely apparent from the face, Cat $40,000. [The second recorded mint example only (with no mint strips of 3 known to exist); Hugh Morgan's fine & better centred example - stated at the time to be the only mint 'CA' single in private hands - sold for £14,400 ten years ago in 2012]
£1 brown & blue ACSC 51A marginal example from the base of the sheet, a trifle aged with a few light tonespots mostly in the margin, lightly mounted in the margin but the stamp is unmounted, Cat $17,500. [Sold at another Melbourne auction for $10,930]
£2 grey-black & crimson ACSC 55B (SG 16), a couple of slightly nibbled perfs, 'REGISTERED/SYDNEY NSW' cds, Cat $9000 (£4000). A very attractive example of this iconic stamp - in the scarcer crimson shade - that is missing from most collections.
£2 black & crimson CTO with the Melbourne '24' cds ACSC 55wa (SG 16), very well centred, Cat $6000 (£4000). A beautiful example of this iconic high denomination.
PUNCTURED LARGE 'OS': 1d red Die I ACSC 2ba Plate C block of 30 (6x5) from the U/R of the R/H pane with early states of White Flaws ACSC 2ba(C)j k & l, well centred, some minor wrinkling characteristic of the puncturing process, unmounted, Cat $2550+ for singles, plus a premium for the varieties.
PUNCTURED LARGE 'OS': 4d orange ACSC 15ba (SG O6) from the base of the sheet indicated by horizontal watermark line at the base, minor hinge remainder, Cat $750 (£275). A scarce intermediate shade.
