Noted 1840 1d Black (plate IB), heavy cancel, near 4 margins; 1d Black (plate 6) minor faults; 2d SG 5 pl 1 3 margins & pl 2 2 margins; 1841 2d blue (with lines) SG13-5 x 8 (mostly 4 margins) incl number "12" MC cancel; 1841 red-brown SG 8 mint (4 margins, close 1 side); 1854 1d p16 SG 17 mint; 1855 1d p14 SG 29 mint, 2 x 1d p14 shade identified as plum (SG 31); 1856 2d pl 6 SG 36a (x 2 shades). Good range of surface printed 1855 on incl: 6d SG 70Wi (invtd wmk); 1/- SG 71-3; 3d SG 75-7; 6d SG 83-5; 1/- SG 90; 9d SG 98 (1 side imperf); 10d SG 112-4; 2/- SG 118 (x 3); 119, 120 (& 2 identified as "cobalt" SG 120a & "milky blue" SG 120b, together cat £5000); 6d SG 125.
