image German Area, 1884-1976, an advanced collection of mint and used, replete with better values, neatly hinged in 4 large Schwaneberger albums. Volume 1 contains German Colonies and Offices Abroad, German World War I Occupations, Belgian Occupation of Eupen & Malmédy, the plebiscite areas, and Danzig, Memel and Saar. Volume 2 contains German Locals - an ample selection of these fascinating items (unlisted in Scott but listed in Michel). Volumes 3 and 4 contain Russian Zone issues and DDR (nearly complete for the period including souvenir sheets and key sets). A very clean and attractive collection overall with no noticeable faults, and with numerous key items cataloging up to $800 each. A small selection has been imaged. Shipping weight 25 lbs / 11.3 kilos. Scott catalog value for the listed items comes to over $10,000, plus there are the numerous Michel listed locals.

image German Area, 1911-1960's, an extensive collection balance and misc. accumulation, in two large binders. Includes much useful Federal Republic such as the 1951 Marienkirche set NH, Berlin including the Black Overprints and some of the Bells, extensive Russian Zone and DDR including the Mao set and the Goethe and Debria souvenir sheets, a section of Bavaria, also many Third Reich propaganda covers and some stamps. Much post 1945 is NH. Occasional faults but generally F.-V.F. A small sampling has been imaged. Shipping weight 13 lbs / 5.9 kilos. Catalog value of the non-Third Reich rubbish comes to approximately $4000.

image Hungary, 1871-2000, an outstanding collection with many key stamps. Several thousand singles, sets and souvenir sheets, all housed in seven hingeless KABE albums. First issues, Scott 1-12 are complete used $1,400. With a mint reprint set on auction lot sheet mint $225., mint + used up to 1912 when it is mainly mint from that point up and quite complete including 462-465 $145., 486 mint + used $160., Semi-postals B1-B52 all mint $231., Airmail C1-C44 $358., Postage Dues J1-J9 $150. We also note the perforated better souvenir sheets such as the Chain Bridge, Roosevelt, UPU etc. Later issues abound with much value over multiple albums, condition on the early issues is a bit mixed and with later issues containing more N.H. and Fine to Very Fine condition. A solid collection.

image Hungary, 1919, Foreign Occupations after WWI, an extensive collection of mint, used and covers, carefully assembled over many years by an experienced philatelist and dealer, and housed in mounts on blank pages in a large Elbe album, including blocks and full sheets. We note many examples of sets or part sets from all the major areas: French Occupation (Arad issue), Romanian Occupations (1st and 2nd Debrecen issues, 1st and 2nd Transylvania issues, 1st and 2nd Baranya issues, Temesvar, Banat and Szeged issues), plus Western Hungary issues. An excellent lot with considerable value for the serious collector or specialist, generally Fine to Very Fine. Fully imaged on the web. Shipping weight 7.25 lbs / 3.3 kilos. Scott catalog value easily exceeds $3,000.
