Scandinavia Airlines Syst, First Flight Covers (3), "OVER THE POLE" to Tokyo, addressed and each with the same SAS Official cachets pmk with '24.2.1957' pictorial cds and each have appropriate Tokyo receiving pmk on back dated 26.11.57 (Feb. 26, '57). Condition is very good, has adhesive toning. Also each contains the Official SAS stuffer. This flight was the first commercial flight to fly over the North Pole. Very nice items for an airmail collection. NB Denmark, Norway and Sweden jointly own SAS (Image)
