SUPERB 1849-1930s MINT & USED COLLECTION IN 22-RING "PRANGNELL" ALBUM: An excellent range of early issues commencing with 1849 issues 15c, 20c (2), 25c (2) and 1f, all being very fine 4 margin examples, range of imperf. Napoleon heads (Empire) to 80c (4, inc one on cover), continuing with perf. types inc. v. fine 5f 'Napoleon' with "6123" lozenge cancel and expertised on reverse; 1870-71 'Siege' issues inc. 2 x 10c (one a variety) and inc. a study of the 40c orange with varieties inc. wide "4", Shanghai cancel, etc; good range of Bordeaux issues, 3rd Republic Ceres, extensive range of Peace & Commerce, Blanc, Mouchon, Merson, etc with many shades; 1917 War Orphans sets mint and used to 1f + 1f, 1918 Red Cross unmounted mint, 1922 Orphans 1f on 5f + 5f mint, 1926-27 Orphans set of 4 to 5f + 1f mint, 1927 Air 2f used, 1929 Le Havre mint, etc: mint & used study of 1929-33 high values with Die types and varieties annotated with 5f (6), 10f (11) and 20f (7), comprehensive mint range of 'Sinking Fund' sets with additional used singles (Sourire de Reims, French Provinces, etc.).
