Egypt, Gift of the Nile Compilation, 1866-1960s, variously presented, with a wealth of interesting and not-always-encountered material; plenty of Pyramid and Sphinx issues, some noted for plate flaws/varieties; a number of early Turkish-imprinted stamps; several Interpostals (including a "blank" with location identified by postmark); cancels include Postage Due, Acknowledgement of Receipt markings, Railway and Rural Post, Registry and Government Service; a lovely 20p on 5pi with perfect "Beyrouth/Syrie" dater; 1950s blocks, some with plate varieties, some plate blocks, several British Forces and Military Mail stamps, a Consular Service overprint, Registry labels including an O.H.E.M.S. example, and much, much more; mixed condition on earlies, but generally fresh and sound, o.g., some never hinged / some hinged, Very Fine on the whole, well worth the time to review.
