1851-52 2 R.B.S. blue with clear burelage (probably Thiele, Plate 1, pos. 76, Type 6) used on folded footpost cover within Copenhagen in 1854, addressed to Frederiksholm Canal, tied by numeral h/s "1" in black, blue footpost dater "F: 18 24/5 54 P:" alongside. A fine stamp with close to wide margins on a cover with minor imperfections (tear at top, few stains and lightly creased) but still good, bearing a red wax seal "BYGNINGS/INSPECTEUR/F.F.F." on the reverse. Centrically cancelled with bridge type circle date stamp "AARHUS 27.4.20 / 12-2E". The block has very fine perforation and centering. A rare block in flawless quality.
