(Proud D4, unrecorded late use), large sender's oval h/s "PRINCIPAL CIVIL MEDICAL OFFICE/Allan Parry/INSPECTOR GENERAL...", Colombo transit dater as well as Bogawantalawa arrival c.d.s. alongside, with few traces of use (needle holes, light corner creases) but good appearance. A very unusual official mail.

The envelope's stamp (10c.) covered by wax seal and removed when opened, otherwise a fine and attractive p/s reg. envelope.
