Cayman Islands, 1868 Incoming cover from the U.S. via Jamaica, cover from Newton, Mass. to Kingston, Jamaica via American Packet, redirected to Grand Cayman; franked with a pair of 10¢ green (68) paying double the 10¢ rate to the West Indies; postmarked with a Nov 10 Newton, Mass. c.d.s. with a manuscript "8d" in blue crayon (probably applied in error as it appears to have been crossed out); light British P.O., Colon, Panama transit c.d.s. on the front (Dec 2?) and backstamped Kingston transit c.d.s. (Dec 9); a few ink spots and some toning at the edges, Fine to Very Fine.
