1861, 1p. "woodblock" carmine, unused with large parts of original gum, full margins on left and right side, only small notch at right margin outside stamp design, small corner crease and lightly touched bottom center, certificate Pascal Scheller (Paris) 06/2012, this issue is already rare as cancelled piece, but as unused piece with parts of original gum it is one of the great rarities of Cape of Good Hope, especially as better colour carmine, most unused copies are without gum!
