Canal Zone, 1904, 1¢-10¢ overprinted U.S. complete set, cover to Jamaica (Scott 4-8), f-vf, tied by purple 7-bar CANAL ZONE cancel with matching Cristobal, Dec. 12, 1904, circular town postmark on neat small cover with PANAMA RAILROAD COMPANY corner card, to Jamaica, endorsed "Per s/s Antillian" with Colon, Dec. 12, waving flag, TRANSITO, backstamp and Kingston, Dec. 17, receiver, very unusual foreign usage, lovely five color franking, scarce and desirable; couple of insignificant stains, 5¢ with natural straight edge, a Very Fine cover, these stamps were taken off sale on Dec. 11, 1904, and replaced by Panama overprinted stamps on the 12th, as a result of the taft agreement, this is one of the Last Known Uses for these stamps.
