Letter signed by Thomas Carten from Bowden, TX Aug. 21, 1870 and written to his son-in-law "Ephraim Watson/Cusseta P.O./Cass County/Texas (population 30 in 2000). Bowden was in Red River Co. and only had a Post Office 1904-1906. (Image)

Card printed in black and tan with picture of Lindbergh in flight suit at left, flight info and the American Legion insignia. Address side including a small oval of Lindbergh's head and shoulders.
