720, 3¢ Purple on 1933 "A Century of Progress" event cover, F-VF, ink printed address, with RALPH A. KIMBLE, THE STAMP MAN CACHET in red on back and violet cachet on front explaining the presence of Postmaster General instead of President Roosevelt the opening of the fair. Postmark is circular date stamp "CHICAGO/MAY 27/10AM/1933/ILL." with official fair text killer "A CENTURY/OF/PROGRESS/STATION". Ink script return address on back flap and inscribed "SAVE THIS/ENVELOPE" on flap as well. Very good condition with a couple minor creases, small stain near the circular date stamp and a smudge upper left edge, very little wear to edges and corners
