British West Indies, 1858 Barred Numeral Cancellations Proof Sheet, a proof sheet from the Perkins Bacon archives showing impressions in red from all 15 cancelling devices, numbered "A01" through "A15", with name of the post office for which each was intended written in neat manuscript alongside: "A01 Jamaica", "A02 Antigua", "A03 Demerara", "A04 Berbice", "A05 Bahamas", "A06 Honduras", "A07 Dominica", "A08 Montserrat", "A09 Nevis", "A10 St. Vincent", "A11 St. Lucia", "A12 St. Kitts", "A13 Tortola", "A14 Tobago", and "A15 Grenada"; the document, which measures 8" x 13" with the bottom 2+" being folded under for display, as a few lt damp stains and has been "silked" with part of the bottom portion being rejoined, the tear passing through the "A08" impression; still a fine and very important British West Indies postal history document.
