image British Commonwealth, 1840-1898, a mostly used collection, including Great Britain (catalog value 14,000+), Antigua, Australian States, Bahamas ($1300), Barbados ($600+), Bermuda, British Guiana, British Honduras, Canada and Provinces ($6500), Cape of Good Hope ($1800), Ceylon ($1100), Dominica, Fiji, Gambia, Gibraltar, Gold Coast, Grenada, Heligoland, Hong Kong ($1010), India ($500+), Jamaica ($560+), Lagos, Malta ($1300+), Mauritius ($500+), Natal ($400+), Nevis, New Zealand ($2700+), St. Christopher, St. Helena, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Sierra Leone; all in mounts in a Scott album. In mixed condition, including imperfs cut close (the Great Britain Penny Black for example has 3 margins), but many appear to be without faults, and this includes the key value of the collection, the Great Britain 1878 10s (Scott #74, Fine used, catalog value $3,750 - it shows no faults when dipped in fluid). There is considerable value here for the patient. Shipping weight 4 lbs / 1.8 kilos.

image Great Britain, 1952-2022, Queen Elizabeth II issues, a magnificent and nearly complete mint collection, neatly mounted on hingeless pages in 6 Lighthouse albums. The degree of completion is extraordinary, missing only the Machin issues and the first Castles. Included are numerous Gibbons listed varieties, including watermark inverted and sideways, plus the early Wilding phosphor and phosphor-graphite issues, all the commemoratives and miniature sheets, most postage dues and nearly all regionals. Apparently never hinged throughout, excepting only the D.L.R. 1958 Castles are lightly hinged. A wonderful lot for the serious collector, all the work is done and the degree of completion - and quality - are both phenomenal. Condition is generally Fine to Very Fine or better. A sampling has been imaged. Shipping weight 46 lbs / 21 kilos. SG £9,548 ($12,270). Suggested Bid $1,500-2,000 (Image)
