Tasmania. 1899-1912 Pictorial Issue, the specialised mint and used collection in an album, and on stockcards or loose, with Specimen overprints, a range of compound perfs on all values (approx 78), double perfs on 1d pair, 2d (6, single + pair + block of six) and 3d, imperforate ½d, 1d (5) ad 2d (2), imperforate between stamp and margin varieties on ½d, 1d (2), 2d (4), plate varieties, shades, etc. Also cancellations with numerals and c.d.s cancels sorted in packets, and duplicates including Victoria and Australia. Lord Howe Island. 1930 (Sep. 4) Cover addressed within Lord Howe Island franked River Murray Tercentenary 1½d with manuscript surcharge "2d Paid PM LHI" tied by a Lord Howe Island c.d.s. When the Lord Howe Island Post Office ran out of 2d stamps the Postmaster was authorised to surcharge 1½d stamps in manuscript; 260 stamps were surcharged and used between August 23rd and October 17th 1930.
