1919 (Sep 15), Cleveland, O. crash cover, Charred cover front from Johnstown, N.Y. to Parkersburg, Ia., postmarked Johnstown, Sep 14, and the accompanying Post Office "unavoidably damaged" label; also included is the recipients follow-up letter and cover to the original sender noting that "The attached slip will explain the delay. I did not get the letter until Sept. 23rd." The original cover, from a Johnstown taxidermist, features a large stuffed deer head corner card, Very Fine.
