Medals 1877 Melbourne tour to Adelaide, football-shaped medallion engraved 'Presented to FA Tivendish, INTERCOLONIAL FOOTBALL MATCH, Adelaide, Vics v Melbourne, 1877', on a small chain, mainly Fine (some wear). Extremely rare. [Two months after Carlton had travelled to Sydney for the first ever Inter-Colonial football match In June 1877, Melbourne toured to Adelaide. On 11 August at the Adelaide Exhibition Ground in front of a crowd of 2,000+, Melbourne defeaed a combined Victorian team by one goal to nil.
