(Box 2), first printing in purple-brown flown on 9 Sep. (Box 4) and a printing in bright scarlet Box 3 (scarce). image A RARE NEWSPAPER AND CARDS, ETC.: 11 Sept. 1911 example of the Daily Sketch with the front page being an account of "The First Postal Service Through the Air". Some age related faults. Also 9 Sept. 1911 and 16 Sept. 1911 greenish grey Aerial Post cards flown from London to Windsor and Windsor to London respectively with large "No 2" special cancellations; and postcards (2) and envs. (2) commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the original flight in 1961. Plus 2011 mini. sheets (2) and PPCs (4) commemorating 100 years anniversary of the first flight. A good group. (Image)
