Czechoslovakia, "Czech-mate" Mostly Mint & Highly Complete Collection, 1918-76, Multiple, mostly mint collections, two of which are nearly identical and highly complete into the 1970s, and another highly specialized collection loaded with Scott-unlisted material in the form of paper & perf varieties, gutter pairs & blocks, imperfs, shifted & inverted overprints, and proofs galore. And the collector paid close attention to possible forgeries with many of the key stamps signed, and accompanying this lot is the 2nd edition of "Forgeries of Czechoslovak Postage Stamps", published in 1985 by the Society for Czechoslovak Stamps. Highlights include mint #175-78 (with ornamental tabs), 200a-01a (in folder), 429a, 434a, 556, 719 (perf & imperf), 1128-33 (sheetlet), 1134a, B20 (block), B20b (signed), B21, B37-39 (signed), B41-46 (signed), B47-57 (signed), B58-63, B72 (signed), B83-89, B107, B115-23, B137-39, C1-6, etc. Additional stockbooks and folders filled with many blocks, some FDCs, postal stationery, locals, revenues, exhibition labels, and other lesser-known material, like 239 & P26 with 1939 World's Fair overprint, OL1-2 on separate covers, and the relatively scarce 1943 souvenir sheet for the Czechoslovak Forces in Great Britain.
