image Latin America, "Counter Offer" Mint Souvenir Sheets, Booklets & Blocks in Counter Books, 1941-2019, The countries of Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, and Panama, all housed in eight counter books with incredible mint stock made up almost entirely of souvenir sheets, booklets and se-tenant blocks & strips with some countries right up almost to the present day. Some better earlier material, like Bolivia #525a, 583a, C306a, El Salvador 588 (2), Guatemala C503a, C523 (red overprint), Haiti 609G, 770a, 770j, CB7a (2), CB8a (3), Panama 453Ef (3, perf & imperf), 490B, C290D (2), C362, C363a (2). Some of the best material is not even listed in Scott, like various souvenir sheets which are merely footnoted, and some errors too, such as numerous goofs on Haiti C169a, for example missing colors, one printed on the gum side, and missing & inverted frames, only some of which are even listed in Sanabria! But emphasis is actually on the modern era, with many items in duplication but not crazy amounts, normally just one or two extras. Two books can be viewed online, but be sure to check out our other offerings, as this is just part of the vast holdings from a former stamp dealer on the West Coast, whose meticulous work in organizing and identifying each item, along with condition and catalogue value, makes this an ideal lot for the reseller as all the work has already been done, Fine to Very Fine, approximately $13,000 in total cat.
