Catlin, Clinton, Oneida Co., New York", an Extremely Fine cover, superb in every respect, this is the later of the 2 reported examples of this cancel which was used 8 months before Dakota became an official territory on March 2, 1861.


The other example sold for $5,250 hammer in 2000. This cover has been off the market since 1992. (Image)
