"Take Cover" Classics, First Flights, First Day Covers & More, 1861-2005, Over 150 covers, from some nice classics, like a 30¢ Columbian or #77 on an 1868 cover to France with a purple cancel, to modern hand-painted FDCs by Fred Collins (3315, 3855 (2), 3938), Dave Anderson (RW56), and Lois Hamilton, aka Ham (2276, 2420, C118, C119). Some Zeppelin material, such as a flight cover from Akron to Madrid bearing C18 and six early Zepp photos postcards ca. 1913, some patriotic covers, high value FDCs, like 560, C10a, and 720b with two different cachets from the Society of Philatelic Americans Convention of 1932, first flight covers with C4, one from New York to Salt Lake, the other from Miami to Kingston, Jamaica. Also some Colorano silk cachets and other scarcer FDC cachets, like the Baseball Centennial (Malone #92d), this particular one autographed by Detroit Tigers players Barney McCosky & Frank Croucher, both rookies at the time. Even a "Look Ma, what I found!" moment pulling out a GB Mulready Letter Sheet (U3) with black Maltese Cross cancel. Plenty of additional images online, and generally Fine to Very Fine.
