image 1930 (May 15), Canal Zone Zeppelin Flight Cover, Canal Zone 50¢ franking tied by Cristobal, May 15, 1930, cancel, to Havana with May 16 backstamp,where it was targeted for Havana-Lakehurst-Friedrichshafen leg, however the Zeppelin did not stop in Havana, so this card was forwarded to New York with 65¢ Graf Zeppelin tied by May 27 duplex, for dispatch on return flight from Lakehurst with diamond-shaped cachet in magenta plus circular German "Sudamerika Fahrt" cachet in vermillion; Friedrichshafen June 6 receiver, Very Fine cover, an attractive example of a rare and desirable dual-franked flown Zeppelin card, reportedly 11 covers carried on this leg.
