THE ROBERT H. SELLES EXTENSIVE CANADIAN PRECANCEL COLLECTION, the collection includes several thousand different Canadian precancels, mounted in a Lee printed album, there are a significant number of varieties in this collection which includes double prints and inverts, the overall condition is really very nice with mostly Very Fine stamps, there are some faults to be expected, most of the stamps have values under each stamp which pertains to the Canada Precancel Catalog values which are from the late 1990's, it appears Mr. Selles cost on this collection exceeds $14,000 U.S. over the years and he was most active in the late 90's and early 2000's, he bought from major dealers and generally paid in the 40-50% of catalog for many of his stamps, there are hundreds of stamps here with values in the $50-200 range and some even higher, this is without question the most extensive Canadian precancel collection we have ever offered, a truly amazing collection, we have included many scans of the better pages but viewing this one will be a huge advantage to the serious bidder (Image)

EXTENSIVE CANADIAN REVENUE COLLECTION, includes several hundred mostly different mint and used singles, multiples and booklet panes, mounted in two Van Dam albums, much of the value here is in the Federal issues but there is also some good Provincial material too, the overall quality is mixed and there are faults to be expected throughout, values up to about $350 with some higher, we have scanned many of the better pages to show where the value is but there are many, many better stamps here, certainly one of the better intact Canadian revenue collections we have ever offered, the catalog value listed appears to be from an older edition of Van Dam so the current catalog value should be slightly higher, well worth a good look and a really big start opportunity for someone wanting to jump into this always popular collection area (Image)
