Rocket Mail, 1936 (July 2), Kieth Rumbel - McAllen, Tex./Reynosa, Mexico, embossed leather-bound 16-page booklet entitled First International Rocket Air Mail Flight published by American Legion Post No. 37 in McAllen, Texas (sponsor of the flights) in January 1958, with a foreword by George W. Wentz, Jr.; mounted within are mint singles and sheets of 4 of the two Rocket Stamps; binding sound with pages just lightly toned (not affecting stamps in mounts), Very Fine, an interesting piece of Rocket Mail postal history. Ellington-Zwisler 11A1, 11A1a, 12A1 & 12A1a.
In Herman Herst, Jr.'s Fun and Profit in Stamp Collecting, he writes, "An approval dealer named George Wentz conceived of a United States-to-Mexico rocket flight across the Rio Grande where it was probably no more than a trickle.
