image 2nd Issue 50¢ Specimen F-1314 net XF. Friedberg states that F-1314 (no surcharges) only exists as a specimen. Not heavily embossed but the bronzing on both sides is adequate. CSA watermark is clear. The two right corners are weak and there is a small stain in the LR corner of the back. Specimens were intended to be used on Fractional Currency Shields to help vendors identify counterfeits. They are printed on only one side. (Image)
