image Mint Never Hinged Collection and Accumulation of Mostly Very Recent Souvenir Sheets and Booklets, from a large number of countries with about 50% of the items coming from the British Commonwealth. We counted 390 souvenir sheets, 51 booklets and 38 blocks and strips of se-tenant stamps. Many items belong either to the bird or the philatelic exhibitions thematic, other nature-related subjects are also well represented. Only two souvenir sheets from Chad are present in quantities of 35 each; most other items are single copies. An ideal lot for the show dealer or the internet reseller. Very fine and photos only show a tiny portion of the lot. (Image)

Two red boxes contain roughly 1,200x 102 dealer cards, of mint never hinged stamps (including some sets), ranging from countries A-Z which appears to be an equal amount of worldwide material and British Commonwealth. This stock had been made accessible to customers in Tarifold displays in the retired dealer's shop. While some sheet holders are dusty, the Vario sheets and the stamps inside have all been well protected. The majority of the stock is mainly comprised of mint never hinged new issues ranging from the 1960s to the 1990s with occasional earlier and later items. The stocks includes many souvenir sheets, sheetlets and booklets. Some of the earlier material is mint hinged and we saw only a very few used items. Most items are priced in the range of $5 to $30 with some under $1 with only a few items over $100. There is extensive duplication of the new issues material but generally not exceeding eight copies. Among the Commonwealth countries, we noted Great Britain, Isle of Man, Jersey, Papua New Guinea, St. Vincent, Malta, Singapore, among others. Well represented European countries include Austria and the Soviet Union. The listed prices were obviously based on older catalogue values, and for some, the prices exceed current catalogue values. A diversified and clean lot that will appeal to dealers and resellers as there are loads of topicals and other useful material. We recommend in-person viewing as online scans show a represention of this lot. Very fine and fresh throughout. (Image)

image Worldwide Mint and Used Collection in 10 International Albums, to 1970. Thousands of stamps in these old Scott albums with emphasis on British Commonwealth countries. The first 4 albums cover the period to 1950 and are quite densely populated, mainly with used stamps, though not with expensive stamps. The last two albums include printed pages for 1968-1970 and lots of added blank pages for subsequent years. These albums hold many mint never hinged complete sets as well as used material. Albums 5 to 8 are less densely populated though they hold more mint stamps than the earlier albums and lots of mint and used short sets. Any worldwide collector will find numerous items to add to his collection. Faults on some earlier material, otherwise fine to very fine. (Image)

image Large Worldwide Mint and Used Collection, in 48x 2-inch Uni-Safe binders and one box. This unusual collection features hundreds of full and near-full pages from dozens of different countries. Among a large number of counties with a count of over 1,000 or even 2,000 stamps, we especially noted Japan which goes to about 2013 with much mint stamps and sheetlets from 2000 on, and Russia which goes to about 1993. Otherwise, most stamps are from the period between 1920 and the early 1980 with more than 90% used. The small box holds thousands of mostly off-paper stamps that were meant to be inserted in the albums. The collection is made up of pages from a variety of albums resulting both in some duplication and in a broader than usual offering. Quality varies but is generally fine to very fine. The first binder consists of mint and used stamps from Commonwealth countries (from A to Z) with better representation from: Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, Gold Coast, Jamaica, Hong Kong, India. Most of the stamps are from the 1930's onward, includes owner's notation of Scott numbers and values from 2007 (we note Omnibus mint sets of Silver Jubilee and Coronation, along with a representation of earlier issues). The collection continues with two binders of used worldwide stamps from countries G-Z with good representation from: Germany, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The three binders include owner's notation of Scott numbers and values from 2007 (mostly stamps $2 and under). The United States collection includes a Harris album of used, primarily ranging from 1920 up to the mid 1970's (the album has pages for 1847-1982). We note pre-1920 in scattered material with Scott #s: 10 (c.v. $190), 63 (c.v. $45), 68 (c.v. $80), 115 (c.v. $225), along with a second album of used stamps, primarily precancels and perfins.
