French Colonies Valuable Mint and Used Collection, on album pages. Includes the rare used Scott 18 (c.v. $475), a mint no gum copy of #9 (c.v. $240) as well as two used copies (c.v. $130 each). We also saw mint #13 (c.v. $175), mint no gum 14 (c.v. $250) and much more. Total Scott c.v. is $2,200 not counting the rare and unpriced #56 with “specimen” overprint, signed by expert J.F. Brun and also not counting premiums usually given for some of the rare cancels. Very fine and a better than usual collection of these. (Image)
