There's also a collection of Europe on old Yvert & Tellier pages up to the mid-1930s with such premium as Germany used 1-3, 6-7, 10-11, 14, 19-21, 24-25, Netherlands used 1-6, Romania mint 196-206; also strong German States, Greece and other areas. In addition, a Schaubek album from the early 1940s with some strong Britain, such as used 1-4, 43, 49, 51, 96, 111-20, 126, 138-40; this album, however, was ravaged by some putz with a pair of scissors and is in dire need of replacement. The three Scott Internationals, on the other hand, are very much like the tomb of Tutankhamun having remained unscathed; two of the three in particular house an extremely potent dose of the British Empire; overall densely packed with a long list of hits, like Antigua mint 27-29, 31-38, Ascension used 1-6 (each on piece), Bahamas used 14, 61-62, mint 31, Barbados mint 127-39, Bermuda mint 123-28, 134, British Guiana mint 152-56, Cape of Good Hope 9 (with cert), and many other triangles, Cayman Islands mint 85-96, Falkland Islands mint 84-96, 100, 107-20, used 74 (yes, the Penguin, and it's a beaut!), Falkland Dependencies 1L19-33, Gambia used 4, Madagascar mint 46, Orange River Colony mint 61-69, Zanzibar mint 114-15, Zululand mint 1-7, 22, used 21, and we've just scratched the surface. We've included many more scans of countries not discussed here, such as strong British Central Africa, British Honduras, Jamaica, Lagos, Natal, St. Helena, South Africa, South-West Africa, and the Leeward & Windward Islands, among others. It would be even better if you could view this collection on the premises, because this is one you definitely do not want to miss, overall Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 42 lbs. image Great Britain, A Nearly Complete Collection, 1840-1997, An intact collection, entirely in mounts and identified by Scott number in an old Minkus Supreme Global album; to give you an idea of how complete the collection is, the only missing stamps through King George VI (not counting Officials) are the ones you'd expect: Scott 31, 47, 74, 75, 90-93, 110, 123 & 176. Issues through KGVI are 99% used, while QEII issues are apparently complete and 99% mint NH to 1995, including Regionals and Channel Islands; back-of-the-book issues are equally impressivewith more than 50 Officials and nearly complete Offices Abroad, the latter just about all mint. Condition of the early Queen Victoria issues is mixed, with very little better than Fine, but everything else is generally clean and F-VF. A truly impressive lot. image Great Britain, "Head Hunter" Highly Specialised Machin Head Collection, 1967-99, Since the stamp's debut in 1967, the sculpted profile of QEII, Britain's longest-reigning monarch, has been printed over 200 billion times making it quite simply the most reproduced piece of art in the history of the world. Despite these high numbers, some are actually quite scarce as specialists collect a wide range of varieties far beyond the colours and perforations including printing methods, types, gum & phosphor varieties, etc. This lovely homemade collection on quadrille pages has stamps ranging from the 10½p to 20p, each in a black mount and meticulously identified along with catalogue number referencing the Deegam Handbook. As a bonus, a collection of FDCs for the pre-decimal Machins including the "Stamps for Cooks" booklet along with various se-tenant combinations. You can see it all online by clicking on the link, Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 7 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Video3 for this lot) (Image)
