South African States, "De Oranjes" Used Collections of Transvaal and the Orange Free State, 1868-1909, A hingeless Palo album with a mostly used collection of the two Dutch enclaves of South Africa, namely Transvaal and the Orange Free State, known by some as the Orange River Colony. Many better stamps to be found throughout, such as Transvaal #5, 15, 24a, 46 (signed Bloch & with Sismondo cert), 59-60, 62-63, 74 (signed Köhler), 75-76, 103, 136-37, 153-61, 252-66, and Orange Free State 1-12, 13-16, 17-20, 23-25, 57-60, 61-69, 70-73. Also included are the Palo pages for Cape of Good Hope & Zululand, a secondary used collection of the Orange Free State on old album pages and many more duplicates in "102" cards, and a booklet from 1923 with a collection of over 60 Transvaal reprints.
