image Malaya & States, Outstanding Starter Collection, 1867-1960s, An intact, mint & used collection of several hundred stamps, including Straits Settlements and Singapore—the latter mostly used to 1960—entirely in mounts and identified by Scott number on Minkus album pages; the single best group is the Straits Settlements, which includes mint #1-3, 20-21, 60-61, 125, 134A-144, 217-234, and used 4-5, 8-9, 128B (revenue cancel), and 167; the Malayan "Elephant" high values are mostly revenue cancels and were not counted, but there are lots of other $50-and-up stamps throughout and just about all of the 1948-57 sets for of the individual States are complete mint, many of them NH; with few exceptions, condition is clean and F-VF. As we said above, an outstanding starter collection or great for filling spaces in your existing collection. Shipping charges apply - weight 3.8 lbs.
